Great Guernsey Trail Bird Sanctuary

Project Detail

We recently finished the Great Guernsey Trail Bird Sanctuary. The project consists of an ornamental garden, assorted plants and flowers and a viewing blind, the purpose of which is to allow for easy viewing of various bird species. Located on land adjacent to the trail the sanctuary is just east of the Reservoir Rd. trail crossing and is open to the public. Funding for this project was made possible thanks to a grant from the Rotary Club of Cambridge.

Pictured here is Wildlife Manager Steve Holt (who oversaw the project) Assistant Wildlife Manager Arren Keith and CDC Executive Director and Rotary Club of Cambridge member Ron Gombeda.
